Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: IPI advocates for media freedom, journalists rights and safety. It engages the European Union in promoting these rights and freedoms both in the EU member states and beyond
Communication Activities: IPI manages press freedom programmes in the EU and beyond with grants from a range of donors including the EU. IPI produces regular reports on the state of press freedom, organises international missions to countries in crisis and journalist delegations to the EU to advocate for improved policy.
