Main EU Legislative Proposals: Regulation 1333/2008/EC on food additives and any amendments to the it in follow up to the re-evaluation of food additives as established by Regulation EU 257/2010/EU on the re-evaluation programme Regulation 1169/2011/EU on the provision of food information to consumers Any amendments to the Regulation 231/2012/EU on food additives specifications as a follow up to the abovementioned re-evaluation process Implementation of the Regulation 2018/848/EU on organic production and labelling of organic products European Parliament Resolution on the European Green Deal including the legislative framework for sustainable food systems
Communication Activities: Education about pectins, their safety and uses via factsheets available on the website, short videos currently being produced.
