Originally formed as a collective platform in 2017 and later formalized as a "Public Welfare Guarding Association," IJA strives to create platforms that uphold truth, transparency, and the free exchange of information, unimpeded by borders or political pressures. Headquartered in Germany, IJA's mission is to amplify the voices of exiled journalists, safeguard their unwavering dedication to the journalistic profession, and reinforce the indispensable role of independent media in sustaining democracy.
