Mission & Interests
Goals: The International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC) is a human rights charity established with one specific goal: to end the forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China and seek justice for the victims. This state sanctioned practice consists of forcibly taking organs from prisoners – often from religious and ethnic minorities – to be sold to paying recipients from China and abroad, killing the victim in the process. It is a heinous human rights violation that has been repeatedly condemned by the international human rights community despite the Chinese government’s denial of the practice. Forced organ harvesting is a form of organ trafficking.
