Mission & Interests
Goals: To support the interest of its members with regards to the manufacturing and use of cellulose and cellulose derivatives in foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products, feedstuffs, personal care as well as in other industrial applications, by:
1. Informing members on official rules and regulations concerning cellulose and cellulose derivatives at international level.
2. Being a trusted knowledge partner on the science behind the safety of cellulose and cellulose derivatives.
3. Commissioning analytical and toxicological research work, with a view to continue demonstrating the safety of cellulose and cellulose derivatives for human health.
4. Supporting the evaluation and related activities of cellulose and cellulose derivatives for their different uses and applications.
5. Implementing education activities on the benefits of cellulose and cellulose derivatives.
