Mission & Interests

Goals: The International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) is an international non-governmental organization serving and protecting uprooted people, refugees, internally displaced persons and migrants, regardless of faith, race ethnicity or nationality globally. Its Brussels office, ICMC Europe (ASBL) : (1 )supports ICMC HQ to advance the rights of refugees and migrants globally; (2)promotes and advocates for migrant rights and refugee protection; (3) promotes legal access, welcoming communities and integration via SHARE Network (See https://www.share-network.eu (4) carries out research and mapping. ICMC Europe monitors the EU migration and asylum policies, advocating with other civil society coalitions for rights based EU policies while implementing varied EU (AMIF, Horizon 2020) and private donor funded programmes in the area of rural integration and community sponsorships.

Relevant policy implementation, public relations and communication activities such as projects, events and publications:
Communication Activities: ICMC Europe engages with over 5,000 plus stakeholders across Europe through the Share Network See https://www.share-network.eu ICMC Europe also participates in many different Globaland European policy platforms. ICMC Europe and the SHARE Network organises panels, debates and discussions with the a wide variety of stakeholders including EU institutions, Member States, Economic and Social Committee, Committee of the Regions (CoR), and EU agencies (EUAA) as well as civil society and regional and local authorities to discuss policies, best practices, and frameworks, particularly in the area of refugee and migrant protection, legal pathways , education and integration.
