Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Onderwijs We consolideerden op internationaal niveau de kwaliteit, reputatie en impact van onze opleidingen rond volksgezondheid binnen een wereldwijde alliantie van gelijkgestemde scholen. We verrijkte onze curricula structureel met digitale en gemengde opleidingen op expert- en/of masterniveau in de biomedische en klinische wetenschappen. Met WikiTropica kunnen we onze expertise op het gebied van tropische ziekten en volksgezondheid wereldwijd delen en uitbouwen. Onderzoek We verwierven innovatieve inzichten in de cellulaire, moleculaire en omgevingsbiologie van trypanosoma, leishmania, plasmodium, helminthen, mycobacteriën, hiv en tropische virussen. We ontwikkelden innovatieve diagnosetechnieken, behandelingen en manieren om ziekten te bestrijden. We bouwden interdepartementale en interdisciplinaire mogelijkheden op om infectieuze epidemieën en geneesmiddelenresistentie van tropische oorsprong te bestuderen en te begrijpen. We valoriseerden wereldwijd onze expertise op het gebied van klinische studies. We produceerden innovatieve, doeltreffende bijdragen aan de universele gezondheidszorg, dankzij empirisch en beleidsgericht onderzoek, theorievorming en kennisbeheer. Medische dienstverlening We ontwikkelden ons in de nationale en internationale velden als toonaangevend referentiepunt in de niche. We hebben de wetenschappelijke uitwisseling tussen onderzoek en onderwijs gevalideerd en gestructureerd. We creëerden een efficiënt en duurzaam bedrijfsmodel.
