Mission & Interests
Goals: Energy Management Institute (EMI) that started its operation in June 2010. As a think tank, EMI offers to the relevant national state institutions on regular basis both innovative ideas in the field of energy policy and legislative solutions, based on the EU goals and principles. While uniting the biggest foreign investors in the Bulgarian energy sector, EMI provides a neutral platform for contacts and information exchange and actively creates partnerships in the diverse fields of its activity. Its proactive position benefits also from the fact that EMI is the only Bulgarian full-fledged member of EURELECTRIC. The intensive cooperation with the media increases both the transparency and the effectiveness of EMI’s work, which also covers just transition aspects.
Since March 2014 EMI is a fully-pledged Bulgarian member of the biggest association on electricity industry in Europe – EURELECTRIC.
