Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: The purpose of meeting members of the European Commission is to introduce the Institut Jean Monnet and discuss how the IJM can support the European Commission in areas related to the transmission of the memory of the founding fathers and more specifically that of Jean Monnet
Communication Activities: The IJM is involved in a variety of activities that are recorded under three main headlines :
- Memory and transmission (eg. republishing of Jean Monnet Memoirs, production of a documentary and a comic strip that help understand the action, vision and method of Jean Monnet)
- Youth (eg. school exhibitions, organisation of hackathons and events aimed at creating a sense of European identity amongst new generations)
- Think tank (eg. historical conferences, round tables, articles focused on the relevance of the legacy of the founding fathers in addressing today's challenges)
