Mission & Interests
Goals: Founded on the eve of the Paris Agreement in 2015, we are a global non-profit think tank working on the cutting edge of climate and sustainability issues. Our mission is to facilitate ambitious action by corporations and governments globally to address the climate and biodiversity crises. We do this by generating innovative analysis for use by investors, corporations, policymakers, campaigns, and a range of other influential actors, as well as being a trusted and widely covered resource for the global media. Our two work streams, LobbyMap and FinanceMap, are world-renowned platforms that respectively hold the corporate and finance sectors accountable for climate performance. InfluenceMap is philanthropically funded and based in London, with offices in New York, Tokyo, and Seoul.

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: InfluenceMap conducts research on policy engagement activity by corporations, industry associations and other actors within the EU and European context. As such InfluenceMap is policy-neutral and does not take policy positions itself. At present the research is centered around EU and European climate and biodiversity related policy engagement.
- InfluenceMap submitted information on policy engagement disclosure to the EU Commission as part of its public consultation on the EU Sustainability Reporting Standards in July 2023
Communication Activities: InfluenceMap produces a range of public facing reports and briefings on policy engagement trends in the EU, Europe and globally.
