Goals: Independent Diplomat (ID) is a unique, non-profit advisory group in the world of international relations, diplomacy and conflict resolution. We provide advice and assistance to democratic governments and political groups across the three pillars of contemporary diplomacy: political strategy, international law and public diplomacy. We help those most affected by issues to access the high-level political discussions about them and to advocate for the legitimate interests of those they represent. Our work therefore promotes greater inclusiveness in diplomacy, and so contributes to more just and sustainable solutions to international crises and conflict.
