Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Continuous monitoring and control of the fulfillment of the EU obligations related to the protection and management of the areas belonging to the Natura 2000 network of the European Union, the observance of the Community directives related to these areas. Cooperation with state and municipal bodies, educational and scientific institutions. Preparation and submission of proposals and studies in the framework of consultations of the European Commission for the protection of Natura 2000 forests.
Communication Activities: Impact studies, writing and publishing scientific newspaper articles, informing about current problems in relation to Natura 2000 habitats. Launching a petition in Hungary primarily for the protection of Natura 2000 forests.
