Mission & Interests

Goals: In a context of ever-increasing humanitarian needs, coupled with insufficient funding, hulo is in the unique position of offering new ways of working across humanitarian organisations, based on increased solidarity, the pooling of resources, and guided by business analytics and data science technology. Humanitarian logistics, and especially procurement, is the conduit through which most humanitarian funding must go: between 30% and 74% of humanitarian funds are spent through logistics, making it the ideal starting point to improve the efficiency of humanitarian aid and implement innovative, data-driven solutions. Hulo offers Joint Initiatives open to all humanitarian actors, focusing on procurement, transport, HR and the environment. This unique setup offers an important solution to the ever-complex situation facing millions of people worldwide and the organisations dedicated to helping them. Together we are stronger, and better.
