Goals: HollandPTC offers patients with cancer the best proton therapy currently available in a safe and friendly environment. In this way, HollandPTC contributes to the quality of life and survival of individuals suffering from specific types of cancer. Through research and innovation, HollandPTC optimises and validates proton therapy, and develops new and better treatments for cancer. The overarching task for HollandPTC is to demonstrate the added value of proton therapy in collaboration with the national and international clinical and scientific communities in radiotherapy and oncology. The ultimate goal is to position proton therapy properly in the treatment of cancer based on scientific results and patient experiences. The activities of HollandPTC contribute to the world-wide developments of proton therapy.
