Mission & Interests

Goals: The Hellenic Optical Character Recognition Team (HOCRT) represents the first scientific crowdsourcing initiative that aims exclusively at the processing and study of parliamentary textual data. Since its establishment in 2017, the Team develops custom software tools and analytical methods to study and understand political discourse. We are a virtually linked group of individuals from different sectors aiming at scientific and technological excellence.
