Goals: ELLOK’s vision is for comprehensive, timely and affordable cancer care for all cancer patients, assuring excellent diagnosis, treatment, psycho-social support, and survivorship care including rehabilitation and reintegration to social life.
ELLOK's mission is to advocate for cancer policy and research, joining forces with all our members and partners for the support of cancer patients’ individual and collective rights to healthcare, ensuring universal and unhindered access to cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
ELLOK's strategy focuses on five main axes:

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: ELLOK currently follows the:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Cross-border Healthcare Directive (CBHC)
- European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer (ECIBC)
- EU Joint Action on Rare Cancers (JARC) and has formed a working group on rare cancers.
- EU Joint Action on Cancer Control (CANCON). ELLOK had also followed CANCON’s predecessor, the first Joint Action on cancer, the European Partnership Action Against Cancer (EPAAC).
- Commission proposal on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and advocates for patient participation in the respective committee in Greece.
-All.Can initiative and set up the All.Can platform in Greece. All.Can Greece was accepted by the All.Can international steering committee in April 2019. ELLOK participates in the All.Can Greece Steering Committee and provides secretariat services.
