Mission & Interests
Goals: § 2 Area of operations and purpose of the association
(1) The activity of the association is limited to the federal territory of Austria and also includes the membership in the Pan-European H2O Observatory.
(2) The association is set up as an independent, not-for-profit entity.
(3) The association supports and facilitates health outcome measurement - with special emphasis on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) - in Austria by providing educational material, workshops, expertise for implementation of core outcome sets, analytic support and expertise for publications.
(4) The association promotes fair principles for the access to health outcomes data in Austria. It consolidates the interests of different stakeholders, including public and private sectors, regulators/authorities and patients/citizens. It provides advice regarding sustainability of health outcomes data collection in a non-for-profit manner including the access to the H2O data platform.
