Goals: Health Assessment Europe is focused on and dedicated to working with the people that power health systems around the world: patients, providers and policy-makers to improve the quality of health and social services for all. HAE builds on its partners’ strong record of improving health systems around the world. Our programs and services are built on evidence-based international standards that promote a culture of continuous quality improvement, safety and excellence. Working with national and regional governments, we are primed to co-create, develop and implement solutions that meet in-country needs and international mandates.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: HAE intends to target EU Health and public health initiatives and policies, such as the following: 1. Erasmus Plus 2. Pact for Skills and the European Skills Agenda 3. EU4Health programme 4. Horizon Europe 5. Digital Europe and a Europe fit for the digital age 6. Green deal 7. New EU Global Health Strategy Other topics of interest are primary care, Integrated Care, value-based healthcare, people-centered care, virtual health, green health, Long term Care, Quality of Care, Mental Health, and Health systems assessment.

Communication Activities: HAE representatives have participated in European Health and Policy Conferences as attendees, speakers and abstract presenters to exchange knowledge to support decision-making on integrated care, health quality and mental health.

Complementary Information: In the past years, most of the activities covered by the register in which HAE participated were done online and mostly free of charge; thus the organisation did not incur significant costs. The organisation has now reviewed its strategy and aims to participate in activities to support EU health systems in improving the quality of services provided to their patients. Therefore, the number of staff dedicated to covered activities has recently changed to mirror the new strategy and the level of engagement HAE would like to have in activities.
