Main EU Legislative Proposals: Groningen Seaports is interested in legislative EU proposals relevant for port development, Climate and Energy transition, green industry and sustainability in shipping. For instance developments concerning the TEN-T and TEN-E regulations, EU Green Deal and Fit for 55-package (e.g. Net Zero Industry Act, Critical Raw Materias Act, AFIR, FuelEU Maritime), EU Hydrogen Strategy, Circular Economy Package, Renewable Energy Directive, European Maritime Single Window.

Communication Activities: Groningen Seaports is a member of ESPO (European Sea Ports Organisation) and WindEurope and participates in its working groups and several other activitities organised.
