Goals: GOAL is an international non-governmental organisation that delivers a wide range of humanitarian and development programmes, with a focus on systems, partnerships and building resilience. Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: GOAL contributes to forums, panels and discussions to support EU stakeholders with insights and information drawn from its humanitarian programming on the ground. Our work covers a range of policy areas including natural disasters, food security, development policy and finance, and the assistance of humanitarian aid to victims of conflicts and natural disasters. More broadly GOAL Global's engagement with the EU is in the context of the mid term reviews of the Multiannual Indicative Programmes under NDICI. GOAL also hopes to engage with the Commission in the framework of the Corporate Sustainable Due Diligence Directive.
Communication Activities: GOAL does not engage in any communications activities related to lobbying or specific policy change. GOAL undertakes fundraising events and awareness raising activities in Ireland for the purpose of supporting its humanitarian work globally. GOAL publishes its research and best practises regarding our humanitarian programming at a technical level. A record of these publications can be found here: https://www.goalglobal.org/impact-learning/ More generally, GOAL communicates about its humanitarian work, the support of our donors and partners (including ECHO), networks (including VOICE) and the positive contribution of Ireland and the EU to supporting vulnerable communities around the world.
