Mission & Interests
Goals: ‘Charity’ is not a legal designation in the UK. Feedback is an NGO registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee (ie. without capital or shareholders) and a charity with the Charity Commision under UK law. Our legal registration can be found here: https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/5038408/charity-overview. This is because we are not a membership-run organisation or a charitable trust (pre-requisites for other types of incorporation); charitable companies mean charities are their own legal entities.
Our goal is to create a better food system. We campaign for food that is good for the planet and its people. We have established a strong reputation as both an expert voice and practical actor on circular food systems and are regularly called upon by businesses, governments, and civil society to provide evidence and advice on diverse issues, including food waste, industrial (animal) agriculture, aquaculture, and circular food economies.
