Goals: The Greek General Confederation of Labour –GSEE (www.gsee.gr) is the central workers' organization in Greece. Founded in 1918, it is essentially the foremost representative workers' organisation in Greece. A unitary and autonomous trade union organisation, the Confederation represents at national level vis- a vis the government and the employers the bulk of workers and their trade unions in the private sector of the economy and in the broader public sector (i.e., public utility enterprises and corporations.) through its affiliated members (second level trade unions) from 67 Federations and 80 Regional Labour Centers nationwide.
