Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: AI Regulation, specifically the AI Act, and regulation as it relates to start-ups and the innovation economy. Ensuring that the regulation that is passed allows start-ups using artificial intelligence to compete with larger technology incumbents and that the access of information and talent is competitive across democratic nations. This relates to all of the subcomponents of the AI Act, including transparency, and regulation, from companies that use artificial intelligence to leaders like foundation model providers.

Communication Activities: 1:1 meetings with EU MEPs to share how Silicon Valley-based investors view the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence startups.
