Goals: In 1980 around 1.3 million elephants lived in Africa. Today there are only about 400,000. In Asia only just under 45,000. Future for Elephants e.V. gives the endangered species a public voice. With public relations and press work as well as on social media, we draw attention to the dramatic situation of the elephants. Our goals are: the peaceful coexistence between humans and elephants the maintenance and expansion of protected areas and habitats the end of poaching and the end of the ivory trade the end of trophy hunting and the import ban of hunting trophies
