Goals: Foundation Center for Health Policies and Services (CHPS) is an independent Romanian non-governmental organization founded in December 1999, aiming to improve health system outcomes by promoting evidence-based policy-formulation and fostering professional and community participation. CHPS was meant to focus on the improvement of the health system functions and outcomes, the encouragement of social dialogue and community participation, the promotion of healthy lifestyles and patient empowerment, aiming at contributing to the improvement of health systems performance and population health.
