Mission & Interests
Goals: The purpose of FDFE, established in 2004, is preventing and stopping debilitating drug use by educating youth and non-users concerning the harmful effects that drugs can inflict upon the body, mind and personality. The Foundation has also the aims to create and put into action drug prevention projects with governments and institutions, elaborate cycles of conferences, round tables and to focus around the different aspects of the drug abuse in Europe and help create drug free European societies by collaborating with like-minded groups and organisations sharing the same purpose.

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: FDFE activities are based on the European Chart of the Children Rights (1979) and on the points IV -b including the Recommendation 609;
FDFE is following the EU Drug Strategy and Action Plan and stick to the new one 2021-2025 to the priorities 5 and 6;
Also we are using the EMCDDA drug reports, the OSCE observations as well as the Europol and SELEC Reports.

24 February 2022, FDFE attended the Conference organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC-Brussels) of the European Parliament.
25 January 2022, FDFE participated to the online conference organized by the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM-France) on the Economic Burden of Addictions.
November 2021 FDFE was invited by the State Institution: Institute for Child and Adolescent Health Care of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kharkiv) - Cannabis and Youth - Let's Talk About !
FDFE is regularly reporting on its website drug prevention activities of its European Say No To Drugs groups and associations such as from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Ireland.
FDFE organized in Brussels an Annual European Meeting on Drugs and Prevention open to the civil society and Embassies, this had been temporarily postpone due to Covid regulations.
On May 2021FDFE was invited to participate to an online conference at the National Institute of Health for Children and Adolescents of the National Academy of Medicine of Ukraine.
On 17-18 December 2020 the FDFE was invited by the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Institute of Health for Children and Adolescents, Kharkiv National University VN Karazin,

Complementary Information: FDFE does not received any funding, only materials: booklets, DVDs, Educator Guides, to be delivered to youth, parents, teachers, public on stands or during presentations in schools or associations, always for free.

Is Member Of: In addition of the above associations and federations, the FDFE as an umbrella organisation is in relation with the different Say No To Drugs (SNTD) associations/groups located in some 20 European countries.
Please note that in several countries according their size, there are more than one association/group. E.g. in Belgium one SNTD but in France twelve SNTDs. Altogether a hundred of them.
