Cii exists to support and enable charities to create positive social change. As an organisation, we work with our members to help them professionalise, sustain, grow, maximise their impact and improve the welfare of others. We provide educational programmes and resources for charities all across Ireland. Our goal is to help to amplify the voices of charities across Ireland and highlight the positive role they play in society. We promote the contribution of the sector and help build greater trust. We work with policy makers to create a more favourable environment to empower charities to deliver their missions. We want to develop a greater appreciation of charitable engagement in all forms. The Wheel: The Wheel is Ireland’s national association of charities, community groups and social enterprises. As a representative voice, we provide leadership to the charity and community sector and we advocate on behalf of our growing community of members. As a supportive resource, we offer advice, training and other opportunities to people working or volunteering in the charity and community sector. FEBA: The European Food Banks Federation is a network of over 341 Food Banks in 30 European countries, preventing food waste and reducing food insecurity. European Food Loss and Waste: The EU Food Loss and Waste Prevention Hub is a "one-stop-shop" for stakeholders active in the area of food loss and waste prevention and reduction. Join us and help us build a growing community of experts and practitioners, working towards the Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 Target to halve per capita food waste at the retail and consumer level by 2030, and reduce food losses along the food production and supply chains.
