Mission & Interests

Goals: Flanders Make is a strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry (vehicles, machines and factories of the future) with over 750 researchers based on four sites in Flanders (Leuven, Lommel, Kortrijk, Sint-Truiden). Its objective is to stimulate open innovation through excellent research and to support SMEs and large companies within the Flemish manufacturing industry with a custom innovation trajectory by offering an extensive range of testing and validation infrastructure for products or production processes via its 3 co-creation centres, a drone-cluster and 11 laboratories in collaboration with 5 Flemish universities (Ghent University, KU Leuven, University of Antwerp, University of Hasselt and Vrije Universiteit Brussel - VUB).
