Mission & Interests
Goals: FinUnions represents Finnish trade union confederations (SAK and STTK) in Brussels. FinUnions is representing two Finnish trade union confederations from Finland in Brussels. Our mission is to represent the views and interests of our affiliates in Finland.
Our main tasks are to contact EU decisionmakers and other key groups by representing our main focus areas.
In our activities, we are also focusing on EU communication through different channels and by newsletters to our Finnish trade unions and their members.

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: FinUnions follows all EU policies that are relevant to the interests of the members of our affiliated trade unions, and of employees more generally. Our particular focus is on social, labour and economic policies. FinUnions works on behalf of its member federations to ensure that the voice of workers in Finland is heard in European policy-making.
Communication Activities: FinUnions publishes information on working life related EU policies and decision making. We also cooperate with various partners in order to raise issues that are important to our members.
