We are very strict in the selection of our members (only researchers/experts/practitioners) active in financial inclusion or having a strong background in social and or inclusion matters. We will never accept any industry related "full members" - the only one who take part to the strategic and managment decisions.

The official purpose of the organisation is the following (by-law- Article 3 : Objet L’association a pour but désintéressé d’utilité internationale de promouvoir l’inclusion financière en Europe via des activités de recherche, d’échange, de débat et de dissémination. Elle a comme perspective commune de promouvoir la dignité humaine et l’inclusion sociale. L’inclusion financière est un concept opérationnel qui permet la structuration d’une action en faveur de l’inclusion sociale, de la protection de la dignité humaine et de la garantie d’un standard de vie minimum pour une vie digne pour tous, en ce compris les plus vulnérables. Les activités de l’Association sont centrées sur l’Union Européenne et ses règles. Cela étant, le champ de l’activité de recherche n’a pas de limite géographique."
