Mission & Interests
Goals: Finance Innovation (FI) is a global competitiveness cluster that supports the development of innovative, digital, and deep-tech solutions. Finance Innovation is the French leader in supporting financial SMEs, start-ups, and scale-ups as it aims at building links with national and international stakeholders and helping them raise public and private funds to accelerate their growth.
FI has 4 high-priority missions:
1) identify and accelerate innovative projects;
2) animate the entire ecosystem of financial innovation;
3) be an assembler of skills for R&D projects at the national and European level;
4) contribute to the production of a vision of “the finance of tomorrow” and to the digital and green transformation of the sector.
FI gathers together 585 stakeholders working in the financial sector: 450 SMEs (start-ups, consulting firms, investment funds), 115 large companies (banks, corporate groups), and 20 academics/researchers (universities, schools, research laboratories).

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: Digital Finance, Digital Europe, Digital innovation, Green Finance, Open Finance, Innovation, Research and Development.
Communication Activities: The annual physical events that FI organizes in Paris and related to EU priorities are:
• FINOV (December): major event of FI dedicated to French fintech, with +1000 participants (official ceremony, keynotes, reverse pitches, fintech booths, round tables on issues of future finance).
• FINTECH BUSINESS DAY (November and March): business speed meetings gathering the latest startups labeled by FI, consulting firms, and corporates.
• INSURDAY (November): a week dedicated to assurance (pitches, conferences), with +400 participants and +150 esteemed speakers.
• FINTECH OF THE YEAR (January): this event creates a very strong engagement with the ecosystem and press and social media exposure.
• PAYMENT DAY (March): BNPL, cryptocurrency, international payments, request to pay, this day of round tables and conferences will not let go of any theme.
• INVESTMENT DAY (March): dedicated to asset management and technologies at the heart of the investment. Solutions to the digitalization of robots B2C for asset owners.
• CRYPTO DAY (June): an event dedicated to cryptocurrency as well as other related subjects, such as NFT and tokenization.
