Goals: The Federation of European Publishers represents 29 national associations of publishers of books, learned journals and educational materials of the European Union, the European Economic Area and other European countries. Thus, FEP is the voice of the great majority of publishers in Europe. It acts in the name of publishers in the discussions and negotiations with the European Institutions concerning mostly the copyright legislation, information society, taxation and culture.

Info Members: FEP's permanent staff is 4 people. Interns, who are with FEP temporarily, are sometimes included in the list and then removed when they finish their internship. FEP also normally includes its current President in the list of people registered, only to facilitate his/her access to the Parliament during his/her visits to Brussels; (s)he does not regularly visit the EP like the permanent staff. A project officer works on a fixed-term contract with FEP from 2021 to 2024 and is included in the list during this period; he will have limited missions related to the Registry.
