Mission & Interests

Goals: The purpose of the F.E.C.E.C. is the study, defence and representation of the moral, professional, economic and social interests of managers and executives in Banking and Financial sector at european and international level. Participation in European initiatives within the framework of the general and sectoral social dialogue is of first importance for the FECEC. FECEC will endeavour to support projects and initiatives proposed by the European Union for which its adhering members are interested in. The negotiation of agreements and European collective agreements is a primordial commitment for the FECEC.

Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: we have the use to work at European scale via our umbrella organisation the CEC European Managers, one the six official European Social Partners. We are just starting our sectoral activities representing the managers and executives in the banking and credit institutions sector. Our target is to understand and to follow the activities and to participate to the consultations of the European Commission concerning the banking sector, for example "A digital operational resilience framework for financial services: making the EU financial sector more resilient and secure" it's means mainly the works of DG Fisma concerning the union of banking market, the implementing of the final basel III and their impact on job and economy. The other second pillar of our goal is the social dialogue this is why we will follow the work program of the new European Commission (the minimum wage, the european social pillar or the climate transition, or the works of the banking sectoral social dialogue) We would follow the work of the European Parliament (employment Committee), regarding the social thing and the European new industrial policy. finally we would like to help to promote the specificities of managers in leading and conducting projet of transformation (energy transition, sustainable leadership, gender equality, digitalisation)
