Communication Activities: In recognition and visibility of female leadership, FEDEPE annually celebrates the FEDEPE awards, which have united more than 100 winners and thousands of assistants throughout the years. They publicly award the professional careers of those women who have managed to combine an excellent formative trajectory with high levels of management knowledge to generate resources, results and benefits. In addition, they are an ideal opportunity to strengthen networks between women, to share experiences and professional concerns. Also, awards are given to companies and media that have favored and promoted the role of women in the workplace, promoting their professional equality with men.
FEDEPE organizes training programmes of diverse nature, in the form of seminars and face-to-face workshops. The aim of these workshops is to facilitate the training of women in different professional aspects (coaching, mentoring, stress control, impulse to the managerial career...), always looking for them to be dynamic and constructive, and getting them to interrelate among them, in addition to complementing their current formation.
FEDEPE is also by the side of those women who are having difficulties finding a job. The Donna Vola Programme, and Evoluciona have arrived to more than 30 Spanish cities, benefiting thousands of women. FEDEPE doesn't forget to support female entrepreneurs with the Programme Mprende+21, which has helped and mentored more than 200 women. All of those programs have been implemented for numerous editions.
FEDEPE is concerned with the need to transform discrimination into equality, and we know that in order to do that it is necessary to listen to different points of view, to debate and rethink our reality. All this is what we do with our "Encuentros-Coloquio", multidisciplinary meetings that have counted with more than 180 speakers and thousands of participants. We also put this into practice through our participation in the RTVE radio program 'Ellas pueden' or by celebrating Women Writers' Day, with the National Library and the "Classics and Moderns" association, an initiative that has had great repercussions both at national and international level, with around one hundred institutions involved in fifteen autonomous communities, and with participation of seven Latin American countries and the USA.
For FEDEPE, the Sustainable Development Goals are the guide that marks the way to equality in the world. For this reason, it has looked to cross borders and also to generate global alliances in order to work in a transversal way the business and social values and the role of women in the professional and personal areas. In short: to build an equitable and sustainable world. To this end, FEDEPE participates in different projects and events such at the international level: it has taken part in the UN's UPR review to Spain, it annually participates in the UN's CSW (Commission on the Status of Women), and uses that opportunity to organize a yearly Parallel Event in New York. It has also launched the Grow in Africa program, and has participated in different international round tables. FEDEPE is also part of various initiatives like Wegate or Global Board Ready Women, and has international Memorandums of Understanding with entities such as the European Women's Management Development International Network -EWMD- and UN Women.
In 2017, FEDEPE also published the book "Now we count" (Ahora contamos nosotras), which collects the vital and professional experiences of different women awardees from the first 25 editions of the FEDEPE awards.
