Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: EXIT's Green Revolution initiative got recognized on national but also at EU level. The Government working group on Air Protection in the Republic of Serbia has adopted the Green Revolution initiative to increase the country's afforestation from 28% to 40%. The Green Revolution and its action of massive afforestation of Fruska Gora in November 2019 has been welcomed by European Commission President, Usrula von der Leyen in her open letter about the Green Deal.
On the other hand, Foundation EXIT is a partner in two large scale projects supported by the Creative Europe programme, MOST and HEMI ( The Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation). Both projects have the same or similar aim - to develop a platform for the music industry from Balkans and Central South East Europe regions. The platforms consist of online and offline facilities to serve: connecting, educating, informing, marketing, policy making, and gathering. The idea is to continue these initiatives and platforms even after the project life cycle - to get other means of financing for their sustainability.
Also, Foundation EXIT is a lead partner in the project "Incredible Destination Events (IDE)" supported by IPA CBC Hungary-Serbia. The project aims to develop an innovative multidimensional platform that will promote tourism destinations and cultural heritage venues in the cross border region of Hungary and Serbia using music and DJ stars, creative industries and innovative and digital/video tools attractive to young population and new travellers.
Green EXIT is a new department formed in 2021 that works on development of the green tools for the festival itself, together with EU Delegation to Serbia and various other big EU festivals with the same goal.
Communication Activities: Festival is the strongest component of EXIT platform but it is not the only one. It is followed by strong and numerous social activities, campaigns and projects.
