Mission & Interests
Goals: TP Organics is the European Technology Platform (ETP) for organic food and farming officially recognised by the European Commission for giving input in research & innovation policy and programmes. We unite the whole food supply chain - farmers, SMEs and large companies, consumers, civil society organisations and researchers active in the organic value chain from production, input and supply to food processing, marketing, and consumption - to bring research priorities of the organic sector to policymakers in Europe and beyond. Our mission is to strengthen research & innovation for organic and other agroecological approaches that contribute to sustainable food and farming systems. Since 2007, TP Organics has been shaping research & innovation agendas to advocate for more sustainable food and farming systems in Europe based on organic and agroecological principles. Furthermore, we promote research participation of and knowledge exchange between the organic actors.
