Mission & Interests

Goals: ESSA is the European Salmon Smokers Association with member companies based in several European countries. ESSA aims at providing technical expertise and input to all stakeholders including industry associations and legislators at national, European and international levels such as the European Commission, World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the Codex Alimentarius. The members of ESSA have access to the IT system for monitoring the quality of the raw materials used in manufacturing in order to guarantee and improve the quality of the products placed on the market.
