Mission & Interests
Goals: EUREGHA is a Brussels-based network of 21 regional and local health authorities and organisations working on regional and local issues, covering more than 10 European countries. EUREGHA aims to promote collaboration amongst regions and local authorities, in Europe, within the framework of policies relating to public health and health care. EUREGHA also cooperates with the EU Institutions and with international and public organizations related to public health and health care.
EUREGHA core priorities are: 1) Invest in innovative health policymaking: shifting to a value-based approach 2) Tackle health inequalities 3) Ensure health promotion and prevention: shifting from a drug approach to behavioral changes 4)Foster integrated care to offer a service that is closer to the citizen 5) Innovate health in order to take full advantage of the opportunities provided by the digital revolution and technological innovations 6)Invest in border Regions

Activities
Main EU Legislative Proposals: EU Health and public health policy, especially: value-based healthcare, integrated care, research and innovation, cancer, mental health, health equity, cross-border health, primary care, eHealth, and chronic diseases. Cohesion policy, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Erasmus plus, Pact for Skills, Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, EIP AHA, Economy of well-being, EU4Health programme, European Semester, A Europe fit for the digital age, Updated Skills Agenda for Europe, A Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe, Shaping the Conference on the Future of Europe, European Health Data Space.
Communication Activities: EUREGHA currently participates, mostly with stakeholder engagement, policy and in the BOOST, PERISCOPE, ONCODIR and INNOFACILITATOR projects, all receive funding under the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. EUREGHA also participates in the BeWell project, funded under Erasmus+, for which leads the work on the Pact for Skills: Large-scale Partnership for the Health Ecosystem. EUREGHA also organises a yearly conference promoting the network's activities in the abovementioned EU policy areas and regularly organises sessions during the European Week of Regions and Cities.

Organisation Members: EU Health Coalition – a multi-stakeholder initiative that involves 36 organizations looking at mapping the future of healthcare in Europe in order to make the most out of the innovation and looking at how different sectors can converge to deliver the best outcomes for patients in Europe
OPEN-EU - The Obesity Policy Engagement Network is a sustained global initiative aiming to achieve national policy changes in support of improved obesity care. Through the global network, members are provided the opportunity to discuss progress in their country, gain insight and inspiration from other countries and experts, as well as obtain tangible tools to further evolve national obesity strategies.
EAVH-European Alliance for Value in Health is a group of associations that represents a broad range of stakeholders including patients, scientific and professional societies, healthcare managers and professionals, hospitals, payers and industry. The Alliance together towards our shared vision for a Europe, where health systems are value-based, sustainable, and people-centred. By connecting different stakeholders, the mission is to facilitate health system transformation, share knowledge and best practices, and engage with policy makers and stakeholders at European, national, and regional level.
EURAHL - The European Coalition for Active and Healthy Living (EURAHL) is a group of representing stakeholders active in the broader European Active and Healthy Living (AHL) arena. EURAHL’s mission is strengthening connections, promoting synergies, and bringing together the voices of European Networks working in the field of Active and Healthy Living.
