Mission & Interests

Goals: ERAC’s international and national member associations work together for adequate common aviation laws and standards in order to enhance a safe, economic and ecological air traffic infrastructure. Furthermore ERAC´s members support either as origin or as destination the fastest inter-regional public mobility. The multiplicity of knowledge and experience of more than 130 member-aerodromes, more than 32 SES-certified Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) and aviation-affine companies range through the complete field of aviation from legal, technical, operational to administrative and economic aspects, with focusing of interests in the regional aerodromes and airfields.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: sustainable future of (decentralised) aviation state aid guideline aviation GBER Alliance for Zero Emission Aviation Expert Group on Climate Change Policy (CCEG)

Communication Activities: regelmäßige Informations- und Netzwerkveranstaltungen in Brüssel und in den jeweiligen Staaten der Mitglieder zu Nachhaltigkeitsthemen und verkehrspolitischen Initiativen. Austausch zwischen den Mitgliedern ganzjährig nach Bedarf, regelmäßige Workshops sowie Aus- und Fortbildungen auf fachlicher Ebene (Luftfahrt, Schwerpunkt Flugplätze und Flugsicherung), Teilnahme und Unterstützung von Richtlinienarbeitsgruppen auf EU- (EASA und EUSPA) und internationaler (ICAO) Ebene.
