Mission & Interests
Goals: EUOTA is a Belgian-based non-profit International Association representing 42 members active in ozone industry as manufacturers and suppliers across EU and the world. EUOTA conducts activities in the benefit of general public in defending the common interests of the ozone industry with lobbying activities and in organising training courses and conferences. Furthermore, EUOTA supports its members in providing technical and regulatory advice, notably in relation to market authorisation process, and in representing them before scientific and regulatory authorities.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: • REACH

• Other (biocide related): issues dealing with Efficacy, relevant Impurities, In-situ generated active substance.
Communication Activities: EUOTA has strong interest in participating in ECHA bodies and network, especially to be involved in BPC meetings for the preparation of guidance documents in relation to in situ substances, given that:
EUOTA members have submitted an application for the approval of the active substance Ozone generated from Oxygen and EUOTA will provide support for ozone device manufacturers related to the product authorisation process;
EUOTA's members are engaged in the development of small-scale ozone devices;
EUOTA aims to ensure full compliance and understanding of its members as to guidance and data requirements;
EUOTA has valuable practical expertise to contribute to ECHA
