Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: ISOPA is engaged in the legislatory process of the European Commission to set an Occupational Exposure Value for Diisocyanates. ISOPA is engaged in the implementation of the restriction on Diisocyanates under REACH. ISOPA is also engaged in the Chemical Strategy for Sustainability. Especially on the actions named Mixture Assessment Factor, Generic Risk Assessment, Essential Use Concept and Polymers Requiring Registration.
Communication Activities: ISOPA project on the proposed restriction under REACH on diisocyanates by developing the requested training material for workers in the EU as well as establising a platform which will alow on-line training as well as face to face training. Public relation and communicaton with regard to the plastics strategy, circular economy as well as energy performance of buildings directive and energy efficiency.
