Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: * A Strategic Compass for Security and Defence For a European Union that protects its citizens, values and interests and contributes to international peace and security * The EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 (Developing the Youth Portal) * EU Enlargement Package on the Western Balkans and EU Association Agreement (The European implementation assessment)
Communication Activities: By organising seminars, events, meetings and te visits in the European Parliament, the EAFG aims to influence the MEPs to support Georgia's EU integration prospects as well as to advance the EU Associated Trio Platform at the EU level. The flagship project of the EAFG is "How does the EU Work". In the framework of the project, the EAFG organizes meetings with the EU institutions, think tanks and CSO so that the project participants acquire knowledge about the EU affairs; The second pillar of the project is the Georgian leaders' proram in Washington, which aims to strenthen the participants knowledge about the transatlnatic dialogue. A second initiative is assisting the Georgian students to grant unpaid traineeships in the European Parliament as a part of their studies. In this respect, the EAFG has a memorandum of cooperation with the Georgian Universities. Since 2014, the EAFG helped 30 students to obtain a first-hand experience in the EU institutions.
