Mission & Interests
Goals: The European Alliance for Coach Tourism is a trade association representing the interests of Coach Tourism Operators in Germany, Sweden, Belgium, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. The benefits of Coach Tourism and the purchasing power of its passengers on the local economy are often ignored when considering legislation which affects the tourism industry. Coach Tourism is one of the most environmentally friendly ways of European Citizens enjoying their leisure time. The aim of EACT is to raise the efficacy of the representation of coach travel sector political interests on a European Level, to prevent and to review taxation, fiscal and administrative burdens and discriminatory measures which directly effect the Coach Tourism sector.

Main EU Legislative Proposals: Mobility Package - Interesse sul Reg. UE 1054/2020
La normativa concernente i tempi di guida e di riposo di cui al Reg. 561/06 recentemente modificato dal Regolamento 1054/2020, attraverso una proposta di ridistribuzione dei tempi di guida e di riposo, mediante l'applicazione della variazione dei tempi di guida in 15 minuti + 30 minuti, ovvero di 30 minuti + 15 minuti, ovvero di tre pause di 15 minuti di guida sempre all'interno di 4h e 30 minuti, solo per il personale autista del trasporto persone.
Taxation - Interesse sul Reg. UE - Direttiva 2006/112/CE del Consiglio del 28 novembre 2006 relativa al sistema comune d’imposta sul valore aggiunto
Applicazione di una identica IVA per il trasporto internazionale di persone su strada a mezzo di autobus operators che attualmente non esiste e che determina una discriminazione tra le diverse imprese operanti all'interno dell'Unione Europea.
- Green Deal Europeo - Interesse sul pacchetto di norme di cui al Regolamento (UE) 2017/1369 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio, del 4 luglio 2017, che istituisce un quadro per l’etichettatura energetica e che abroga la direttiva 2010/30/UE
