Goals: The primary aim of the Association is the advancement of the aviation and space sciences and technologies.
Further aims of the EASN Association are:
- The advancement of aeronautics and space technologies through innovative research and the support of European Universities, University Departments and Institutes as well as University research staff to perform aeronautics and space related research.
- The support of scientific and technological cooperation and human mobility
- The support of and the participation to activities aiming to incubate new knowledge, technological innovation and breakthrough technologies.

Complementary Information: The low annual costs of the organization are justified as following:
1) The persons involved in the activities of the organization (mainly the BoD members and the National Contact Points) do not receive a salary but they offer support on a volunteer base.
2) Only minor travel costs and costs related to the organization of a meeting mainly occur during the year. Additionally, accounting related costs also occur.
3) For the registered office, the organization is co-hosted by another entity without renting costs.
