Communication Activities: EU Market Design Review - Alongside Eurelectric, in 2023 Energy UK hosted an event on EU / UK electricity market design held in the European Parliament.
Energy UK released a report on EU-UK energy and climate cooperation; detailing how the UK and EU should look to strengthen engagement and cooperation on electricity trading, carbon borders and carbon pricing to deliver Net Zero faster and more cost-effectively on both sides of the Channel.
Energy UK is a member of the UK TCA Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) and TCA Civil Society Forum (CSF) - Energy UK has participated at the EU-UK DAG and CSF meetings, so far held in Brussels and London.
Energy UK participated in the North Sea Summit held in April 2023.
Energy UK plans to publish additional reports regarding the EU/UK relationship going forwards such as on EU/UK Taxonomy/Sustainable Finance.
Energy UK plans for additional contact time (hosting events, meetings) in Brussels in 2024.
