Mission & Interests
Goals: With 50 years’ experience, Enagás is an international leader in the development, operation and maintenance of energy infrastructures. It carries out its activities in seven countries. Enagás is certified as an independent TSO by the European Union and, moreover, it is the Technical Manager of the System in Spain.
Enagás has around +12,000 Km of high-pressure gas pipelines, three underground storage facilities and four liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification plants. It also owns 50% and 72.5% respectively of two additional Spanish regasification terminals.
Enagás is deeply committed with the energy transition. It boosts and develops national and international projects to contribute to the decarbonisation process, such as renewable gases (hydrogen and biomethane), energy efficiency, gas in maritime transport, etc. Enagas is leader in ESG.
