Mission & Interests
Goals: Ecologic Institute is recognized as one of the leading environmental Think Tanks worldwide. It is an independent, academic, not-for-profit institution engaged in research, policy analysis and education. Since its foundation in 1995, it has been dedicated to improving environmental policies, sustainable development, and related political practices. In their socio-ecological research, our experts cover the diverse spectrum of environmental issues. We analyze, and evaluate policies and policy processes at local, national, European, and international level. To this end, we bring together actors from science, politics, business, and civil society. We also analyze the integration of environmental policy aspects into other policy fields. The results are comprehensive, interdisciplinary analyses, innovative concepts, and practice-relevant recommendations. We cooperate with partners from all over the world and advice governments, parliaments, civil society, and change agents.
