Goals: The goals of the ECA Foundation are: To facilitate the exchange of information between representatives of the industry, the medicines authorities and the universities in the field of pharmaceutical quality assurance, especially with regard to the area of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) To promote the move towards a harmonised set of GMP and regulatory guidelines by providing information and interpretation of new or updated guidances and to issue position papers where appropriate to influence and harmonise regulations and to facilitate networking

Complementary Information: The ECA is organised as a foundtion (trust). Therefore the budget is limited. Currently all colleagues involved in ECA activities work on a voluntary basis. Only costs for travel, meeting rooms and other expenses are covered. This is the reason why the costs are very low.
