Over the past years the DRA has delivered humanitarian aid to more than 4 million people in 22 crises. Activities

Main EU Legislative Proposals: We are targeting the EU humanitarian aid policy. Aid is delivered to victims of humanitarian crises and disasters based on the needs of affected populations by funding humanitarian projects carried out by non-governmental humanitarian organisations. Almost all the DRA Partners receive currently EU humanitarian funding. Within this policy we target specifically at the topics of Capacity building, Disaster preparedness, Resilience and HDP nexus, Grand bargain and IHL. Secondly we target the policy on strategic humanitarian partnerships. All of the DRA Partners have an humanitarian partnership certificate, furthermore the Dutch Relief Alliance is also a good example of how a EU member state works together with NGOs on Grand bargain commitments.
Inter-institutional or Unofficial Groupings: Fighting against poverty
