Mission & Interests

Goals: The Krapina-Zagorje County Multiple Sclerosis Society is a charitable, humanitarian association established to improve the treatment, research, rehabilitation and protection of people with multiple sclerosis and related diseases, which brings together its members throughout this Croatian region and wider. The Society is a non-political and non-profit association that has been operating since 2002. In accordance with its Statute, the Society has defined a number of objectives of its work, including the implementation and full compliance with the objectives and principles based on UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, EU Code, the Council of Europe Action Plan, the Gender Equality Act and other documents and legislation, which covers the issue of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. The Society's goals are to promote the full enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and to work on equal opportunities for people with MS and PwD.
